We Split Hives!
Have you had your hive for 1+ years and think it is ready to be propagated? If you are not sure where to start or what to do, we provide a splitting service if you are located in Sydney. Other locations may also be able to be arranged. You can learn how to split a hive for next time!
Cost: $50 + cost of an empty hive of your choice
You must have an empty hive compatible with your full hive to be able to split. You can purchase empty boxes from us. Both resulting hives remain yours.

We can split your hive for free!
We provide the splitting service as well as the empty box if it is compatible with your hive, on the condition that one of the split halves becomes ours - you 'host' it at your location, we provide life-time warranty for it and you get the conservational, educational and pollination benefits of a free extra hive. We will continue to split the hive to ensure they have plenty of room inside, and we will take the hives produced in those consecutive splits.
The other half of the hive that we split for you remains yours :)
